I’m Megan Jackson, but you can call me Jax.
My design journey has been a web of various interconnected routes, allowing me to taste a range of disciplines and discover my forte. Thanks to my neurodivergence concepts of pattern, organization, emotion, and data are identified in my brain as visual representations – giving me a one-up on crafting hyper-intentional designs. But to say it in my business spiel – I ideate and create purposeful, dynamic designs with problem-solving solutions that focus on the business values, brand vision, and a practical user experience – all delivered with a crispy execution.

Ain’t nothing to it, but to do it
Organization and process drive the foundation of any great design. If you want to work with me, my process can be broken down into six main areas.
01 – Empathy
Together, we will go through activities to get us thinking like your users. Who is your audience? How do they use your service? And most importantly, how we can make things better for your users through design.
02 – Elaborate
Using our findings, let's turn that idea into something more visual. I’ll create the roadmap for your users with wireframes and flows. I’ll also begin experimenting with colors, typography and imagery to create a unique look for you that works well for your users.
03 – Execute
At this phase, we begin to dive deeper into visual design. I’ll focus purely on the look, while keeping your users in mind. By the end of this phase, we will have a defined look for you product that can be applied to additional assets.
04 – Expand
A website is a great start for a business, but we both know it doesn’t end there. Do you need business cards, brochures, t-shirts and animations? Easy-peasy. I’ll use the executed visuals and develop all the assets you need to meet your business goals.
05 – Engage
Let’s get the product in the hands of your users. We’ll test the digital assets on your users prior to launch so we can see how they really feel. Once all feedback is collected, let’s regroup to see how we can make the design work harder and better for your users.
06 – Evolve
Design is ever changing. After some time has past, there might be a need for some updates. Let's see what's working and what isn't and continue to make things better for you and your users.
