I’m Megan Jackson, but you can call me Jax.
My design journey has been a web of various interconnected routes, allowing me to taste a range of disciplines and discover my forte. Thanks to my neurodivergence I see patterns, structure, emotion, and data as visual systems – giving me a natural edge in crafting meaningful designs. But to say it bluntly: I design with intent – turning ideas into solutions that serve the brand, support the business, and feel just right for the user, all delivered with a crispy execution.

Organization and process drive the foundation of any great design. When I’m part of your team, you can expect the following from me:
01 – Empathy
Together, we will go through activities to get us thinking like your users. Who is your audience? How do they use your service? And most importantly, how we can make things better for your users through the power of design.
02 – Elaborate
Using our findings, let’s turn that idea into something more visual. I’ll build the roadmap for your users with wireframes and flows, then direct the visual exploration, working with the design team to test colors, typography, and imagery until we land on a look that speaks to your users.
03 – Execute
At this phase, we dive deeper into visual design. I’ll direct the team through the details, making sure every decision serves the business and user strategy. By the end of this phase, we’ll have a defined system for your product, ready to apply across additional assets.
06 – Expand
A website is a great start for a business, but we both know it doesn’t end there. Brand awareness, conference materials, social communications – whatever you need – I’ll bring in the right people and oversee production of every asset so it all meets your business goals in a cohesive look.
04 – Engage
Let’s get the product in the hands of your users. We’ll test the digital assets on your users prior to launch so we can see how they feel and perform. I’ll synthesis the collected feedback into clear insights for reinterpreting the work – keeping you and the team on the same page as we refactor.
05 – Evolve
Design is ever-changing. After launch, I’ll keep tabs on what’s working and what isn’t – simultaneously keeping awareness to emerging technologies that fit your needs. I’ll communicate these updates with you to see how we can continue to optimize for your business and your users with ease.
